About LPC International

Logistics Planning Consultants International Ltd. is an independent professional consultancy practice specialising in warehouse design, transport solutions and supply chain management. LPC was founded in 1984 by Robert Williams with the aim of providing “Expert Solutions to Logistical Questions”.

LPC Planning Meeting

For more than 25 years the practice has lived up to this aim helping its clients from the smallest with a single warehouse up to major global brands deal with an increasingly wide range of supply chain issues.

The practice was subject to a management buyout in 2007 by long serving senior consultants. It is now headed by three directors – David Hayward-Browne, Graeme Smith and Jason Tindley, who have a combined experience at LPC of more than 40 years.

Teamwork and Client Partnerships for a more effective solution

The ethos of the practice revolves round the dedication of every employee to deliver each individual project. Hallmarks of the practice and each project are technical excellence throughout, teamwork and building lasting client partnerships.

Each member of the practice offers a unique blend of vision, relevant in-depth experience, analytical skill and technological capability. Each project is overseen by a director and supported by members of the in-house team of consultants, analysts and CAD designers and associates.

The practice can call upon a diverse team of in house professionals and long term associates with the expert skills and experience to cover a full range of projects. These range from complete network strategy studies down to warehouse specific issues such as where to locate each individual Stock Keeping Unit (SKU).

This means practical solutions are implemented, not ivory tower theory. LPC can take a scheme from concept and be part of the team that delivers an outstanding, innovative and workable solution to any supply chain, warehouse or transport orientated project.

Technology and Software is employed to produce solutions that work

By staying up to date with the latest logistics thinking, and employing specialist software tools and techniques, the practice is well placed to offer every client sound advice and recommendations on their logistical query. Software tools are used for analysis, strategic modelling, simulation and planning and design of the entire supply chain, warehouse and transport network. Technology is also applied with an understanding of the operational realities being faced, to provide a robust appraisal of available opportunities to increase efficiencies with the environment. Clients will always receive recommendations for solutions that work.
